On this time, you can use Okinawan WASHI which called "Gettoushi".
"Gettoushi", the Washi made from stem fiber.It's fine quality and strong, very unique one.
What is BINGATA?
Bingata stands for Japanese textile.
Originally, it was dyed in the Ryukyu Dynastic Period for Shinto ritual clothing, and clothing for royalty, for the best clothes of ordinary people, and for Ryukyu dancers to help foster (develop) warm diplomatic relations. It mixes techniques of Yuzen and chintz through the Silk Road.
